Dena Rabinowitz, PhD, ABPP
            Founder / Clinical Director 

Dr. Rabinowitz is the founder and clinical director of CBPNY. She is a NYS licensed psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is board certified in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology and is a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She treats children, adolescents and adults and specializes in anxiety and OC-spectrum disorders. While she spends most of her time treating patients directly, she also supervises other psychologists in CBT. She has published numerous articles, gives presentations and workshops , and has been featured on TV, radio and print.

Dalia Gefen, PhD
            Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Gefen is a NYS licensed psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.  A graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, she holds an MS. Ed in School Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the City University of New York Graduate Center. Dr. Gefen has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety and ADHD. She is also skilled at teaching positive coping strategies for stress management utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.  Prior to joining CBPNY, Dr. Gefen worked at Columbia University Medical Center (NYSPI), in public and private schools, and in outpatient therapy centers where she has successfully helped her clients reach their treatment goals. In addition to her dedication to clinical work, Dr. Gefen is an adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU and at Hunter College where she teaches graduate courses in counseling and education.

Brooke Ziegelbaum, PsyD
            Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Ziegelbaum is a licensed psychologist with extensive training in evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness therapies, as well as parent training, for a wide array of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, O-C spectrum, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, and relationship problems. She is also adept at teaching helpful coping skills to manage difficult situations and stress. Dr. Ziegelbaum earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from La Salle University and completed her clinical internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. She has worked in a variety of settings, including Princeton Behavioral Health, private schools, and outpatient therapy centers where she helped clients reach their treatment goals. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ziegelbaum is the director of Columbia University’s Global Mental Health Programs’ Young Professionals Board.

Agnes Selinger, PhD
            Licensed Psychologist

Agnes Selinger is a licensed staff psychologist with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapies for young children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Selinger has extensive experience providing exposure and response prevention (CBT) to individuals suffering from obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders and anxiety disorders, as well as depression, trichotillomania, Tourette’s and ADHD. In addition, Dr. Selinger has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). 
 
Dr. Selinger earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from Hofstra University’s combined clinical and school psychology program, as well as an additional master’s degree in psychology from New York University. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Southwestern Vermont Consortium, which included outpatient rotations providing individual and group therapy to clients of all ages. While there, she also provided individual treatment and parent training for children who participated in Head Start and conducting neuropsychological assessments at a memory clinic.

Other professional experiences have included an appearance on Columbia University’s radio show, “Uptown Radio.” Dr. Selinger is an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) and Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA).

Lindsey Collin, PsyD
            Licensed Psychologist

​Dr. Collin is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for individuals across the lifespan. Dr. Collin has worked with clients in various outpatient and school settings, including the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD), Mamaroneck Avenue School, the Jewish Child Care Association, and Therapy West. Dr. Collin is adept at using various evidence-based approaches, including exposure and response prevention, parent-child interaction therapy, and behavior modification to treat individuals with varied psychological difficulties including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, ADHD, parent-child relationship problems, behavioral challenges, and depression. In addition, Dr. Collin has in-depth experience conducting comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments, and consulting with teachers to support children’s treatment goals. Dr. Collin earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of San Diego, and her master’s and doctoral degrees in school-clinical child psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University. Prior to entering her doctoral program, Dr. Collin worked as a high school teacher. Dr. Collin’s doctoral dissertation focused on a teacher coaching program and its effects on students’ self-regulatory abilities.

Maxine London, PsyD
            Licensed Psychologist

Dr. London is a licensed clinical psychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based treatments for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, trauma, and behavioral difficulties. Dr. London promotes positive growth and enduring change through a warm, genuine, and collaborative therapeutic approach.
 
Dr. London obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from La Salle University. She completed her doctoral internship at Lehigh University Counseling and Psychological Services. She has received extensive training across a multitude of settings, including outpatient centers, school systems, college counseling centers, and residential treatment centers.

Jamie Schwartz, MSW, LCSW-R, ACT
            Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jamie Schwartz graduated from Fordham University School of Social Work with a specialization in children and families and is an LCSW.  She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She has extensive experience treating children, adolescence and adults for depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, insomnia and behavioral problems.  Her experience has been in multiple settings such as Summit Medical Group’s Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center, Overlook Hospital’s outpatient and IOP program and an elementary school.  She is licensed in New York and New Jersey.

Juliet Jenkelowitz, PsyD
            Psychologist - Postdoctoral Fellow

Juliet Jenkelowitz is a postdoctoral fellow with extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety related disorders, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, behavioral challenges and adjustment problems across the lifespan. She often utilizes techniques from other evidence-based approaches, such as dialectical behavior therapy, to help individuals meet their goals. She is also proficient in conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Jenkelowitz earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Long Island University Post campus and completed her clinical internship at Rutgers University Biomedical and Health Sciences. Dr. Jenkelowitz has worked in community mental health centers as well as outpatient and partial hospital settings across the tri-state area, including Maimonides Medical Center and Columbia University/ New York State Psychiatric Institute. While earning her doctoral degree, Dr. Jenkelowitz conducted and supported clinical research at Memorial Sloan Kettering that focused on supporting the needs of patients with chronic illness and their families, with a particular focus on caregiver burden.

Carly Rubenfeld, PsyD
            Psychologist - Postdoctoral Fellow

Carly Rubenfeld is a postdoctoral fellow with experience in cognitive behavior therapy for treating a range of disorders in children, adolescents and adults including anxiety, trauma, complicated bereavement, depression, and behavioral difficulties. She incorporates her training in evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, parent skills training and motivational interviewing, to help individuals meet their goals. In addition, Dr. Rubenfeld also administers comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Rubenfeld received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her clinical internship at the Goodman Psychological Services Center at Albizu University. Dr. Rubenfeld has worked in multiple community outpatient clinics across South Florida including Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s Clinic at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, Child and Adolescent Trauma and Stress Program at Nova Southeastern University, and the Child and Adolescent Mood and Treatment Program at University of Miami. While earning her doctoral degree, Dr. Rubenfeld conducted and supported clinical research at Nova Southeastern University and at the Mailman Center for Human Development focusing on individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
