Matthew Sullivan, PhD

Dr. Matthew Sullivan is a psychologist with extensive experience in the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, and relationship concerns. He has years of specialized experience developing and delivering treatments for substance use disorders. Dr. Sullivan also has expertise in working with clients coping with medical problems. Dr. Sullivan provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults as well as couples and family therapy. His practice draws from a range of evidence-based methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Sullivan received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Connecticut. He completed his predoctoral and postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he attained the rank of Assistant Professor of Psychology. Dr. Sullivan is licensed to practice in NY, NJ, CT, and MA. He welcomes and enjoys working with LGBTQ+ clients and people of all races, ethnicities, and cultures.
